Meybod

Meybod is another smaller town outside of Yazd. It is home to an ancient castle dating back to 4000bc.

The castle is a mud rock structure as is most of the buildings around Yazd. They are simply amazing given their age!

The view from the fort was very enjoyable. After visiting the fort we saw some other interesting structures including a pigeon tower that used to house pigeons so the farmers could use their pooh for fertilizer!
