Good bye Batumi, hello Mestia

After 3 lovely days in Batumi it was time to leave and head to Mestia which is up on he mountains.

We had a great time in Batumi and felt a little sad to leave.

Our bus was at 11 so we arrived at the bus station at around 10:15 to ensure a prime position on the bus, all good!

We took off right on time, they sure are efficient here in Georgia!

Our bus arrived into Zugdidi at around 1:30pm where we had to change buses to head to Mestia. The mini bus to Mestia left at 2pm, there was 6 of us on the bus, all tourists.

The trip to Mestia was a little hairy with big cliff edges, hair pin bends! I was worried we would go over the edge!

Thankfully our driver was very skilled and we arrived into Mestia in 1 piece at around 5pm.
