Off to Georgia we go ...

Our hotel was nice enough to prepare breakfast earlier for us so we managed to get down to the bus station by 9:30 so we had plenty of time to make the 10:10 bus to Balakan.

We had a long day ahead of us as there was no direct bus from Sheki to Signaghi in Georgia.

Before boarding the bus I had to use the amenities, well, I'd honestly have to say this was one of the worst toilet experiences of my life, no doors!! But thankfully no one else was using them whilst I was in there!

Our mini bus left of time at 10:10am, we were jammed to the rafters and there was even a dining room chair being used as an extra seat! Road safety at its best!

We arrived in Balakan at 12:30pm where we caught a taxi up to the boarder, it cost 10 Manat for the 2 of us.
