Sheki

Hotel breakfast was at 9 so we had a little bit of a sleep in which was nice. Although I had slept a little poorly due to the road works near our hotel. I had even ended up sleeping with my noise canceling headphones on! They actually worked a treat!

Breakfast was yummy, there were pancakes, I'm always happy if there are pancakes!

After breakfast we took the trek up to the old town/fortress, it was quite a warm day so we stopped a couple of times along the way, including a stop at a Karavansaray (an old inn)

The walk up to the old town was all up hill and there was pretty much road works all the way up. Sheki seems like its undergoing a. It if a revamp so we are glad we are only here one day as it's quite dusty and the road works makes walking around a little difficult.
